LinkedIn founder posts that generate B2B leads

Personal LinkedIn posts from the founder outperform Company Page posts 10x. The format that actually books demos.

  1. Fix your profile first (30-minute job)

Headline: NOT 'CEO at [Company]'. Instead: '[What you do] for [who] , [outcome]'. Example: 'Helping SaaS founders hit $1M ARR without a sales team'. About: 4 short paragraphs, first person, ends with a CTA (book a call, DM me). Banner: brand-consistent, no stock.

  2. Pick 3 content pillars

Pillar 1: your expertise (tactical advice you've earned). Pillar 2: your journey (behind-the-scenes, wins, struggles). Pillar 3: contrarian takes on your industry. Every post fits one of three. Prevents random posting.

  3. The 8-line LinkedIn post structure

Line 1: hook (bold claim or question). Line 2: (blank). Line 3-4: context/personal story. Line 5: (blank). Line 6-7: lesson/insight. Line 8: CTA question. Break every paragraph into one line.

  4. Post at Tuesday to Thursday 8 to 10am (your audience's timezone)

LinkedIn traffic peaks weekday mornings, business hours. Sunday/Saturday posts get 50 to 70% less reach. Post 3x/week minimum for algorithm favour.

  5. Reply to every comment within 60 minutes

LinkedIn's algorithm reads first-hour comment velocity as a viral signal. Reply-to-every-comment on early comments massively extends reach. Post at 8am, block 15 min at 8:15am to reply = 2x reach.

  6. Engage with 5 to 10 other posts BEFORE you post yours

Warm up the algorithm by leaving thoughtful comments on 5 to 10 posts from your target audience each morning. Your name enters their notifications AND LinkedIn primes to show your post to that same crowd afterwards.

  7. Book meetings via DM, not comments

Interested prospects will comment or DM. Reply publicly with thanks, then DM: 'Loved your comment. Want to hop on 15 min next week?'. Never sell in public comments.

That’s the whole thing.
