Guide
Set up a LinkedIn Company Page
For B2B or professional services businesses, LinkedIn is where buyers actually research you.
Create the Company Page
From your personal LinkedIn, click Work (top right) → Create a Company Page → Small Business. You'll need a verified email on your business domain (hello@yourbrand.com) to unlock the full features.
Add logo, tagline, and cover image
Logo: 300×300 PNG. Tagline: under 120 characters, describe what you do + for whom. Cover: 1128×191, use a real photo of team/product, LinkedIn's default gradient is a red flag.
Write the About section like a landing page
You get 2000 characters. Structure: what you do (1 line) → who you help (1 line) → outcomes you deliver (3 bullets) → who's on the team (1 line) → clear call to action (website, book a call).
Invite up to 250 connections/month to follow
As Page admin, use 'Invite connections', LinkedIn gives you 250 free credits a month. Invite only people who'd genuinely care (past clients, current team, industry contacts). Non-accepted invites return credits back.
Post once a week, but from your personal profile
Company Page posts get 5–10× less reach than personal posts on LinkedIn. Have the founder post as themselves and tag the Company Page. Company Page mostly acts as a credibility anchor.
Add team members via 'People'
Ask your team to update their LinkedIn profiles with the correct Company Page (Experience → Company). Each employee's profile then links back, LinkedIn treats this as strong social proof.
That’s the whole thing.
