Build a content calendar you'll actually stick to

A batched, 4-week template that eliminates 'what should I post today?' forever.

  1. Decide 3 content pillars

Pick 3 themes your business talks about. Example bakery: 1) behind the scenes, 2) customer wins, 3) baking tips. Every post fits into one pillar. Prevents randomness.

  2. Pick a realistic cadence

Not '5 platforms daily'. Start with: 3 posts per week, one platform (Instagram OR TikTok). Master consistency first, expand later.

  3. Batch shoot content once a week

Set aside 2 hours every Monday. Shoot content for the whole week in one sitting. Change outfits, change backdrops. Batching is the secret to sustained output.

  4. Schedule with a free tool

Use Meta Business Suite (free) for Instagram/Facebook. Later.com free tier for TikTok/Pinterest. Schedule 4 weeks at a time on Sunday evening.

  5. Leave 20% for reactive posts

Trending audios, breaking news in your niche, or customer stories. Don't over-plan, leave gaps for spontaneous posts.

  6. Review monthly, don't over-optimise weekly

First Monday of every month, look at what performed best. Do more of that. Stop what died. Don't kill a series after 2 posts, give it 4 weeks minimum.

That’s the whole thing.
