Design consistent Instagram grid templates
The 6-template system that keeps your feed looking intentional forever.
Open Canva or Figma
Both free tiers work. Create 6 blank 1080x1350 (portrait) frames. Portrait posts get more feed space than square, use them by default.
Template 1: Product close-up
Full-bleed product photo, brand colour bar at the bottom, small logo top-left. Use for hero shots of what you sell.
Template 2: Quote/wisdom
Solid brand colour background, large serif headline, tiny logo. Great for values, testimonials, one-liners.
Template 3: Educational carousel cover
'3 mistakes new bakers make (swipe →)'. Bold headline, arrow icon, brand colour. First slide of every educational carousel.
Template 4: Behind-the-scenes photo
Full-bleed photo of you working. Add a small caption bar at the bottom. Humanises the brand, huge engagement lift.
Template 5: Announcement
Solid contrasting background, huge single word ('OPEN', 'BACK', 'SOLD OUT'), small explanatory line below. Reserved for actual news.
Template 6: Milestone / testimonial screenshot
Screenshot with a coloured border in your brand palette. Feels genuine, adds social proof to the feed.
That’s the whole thing.
